Hydraulic Separator
FUNCTIONNING
Hydraulic separators are devices used to separate and isolate different fluid streams, usually hot water & cold water. They are designed to improve system efficiency and reduce maintenance by preventing the mixing of fluids of different temperatures or compositions, which can cause a variety of problems, including uneven heating or cooling, corrosion, and sediment buildup.
It creates a barrier between two fluid streams so that they can flow independently without affecting each other's properties. The device consists of a rectangular vessel with a baffle inside that creates a buffer zone between the two streams. The buffer zone allows the fluids to mix and equilibrate their temperatures without creating turbulence or disturbance in the main streams.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS • Separate air and dirt • Offered with drain valve • Stainless steel housing • Provided with wall bracket • Maximum operating pressure 150 psi • Maximum operating temperature 132°C (270°F) • Equipped with automatic air vent BENEFITS • ½” FNPT thermometer port • Eliminate the need to install automatic air vent and air & dirt separator • Simple to install • Easy maintenance • Minimize energy consumption because the pumps will only work for the required zones |
